We have to say that we love Kansas City and we love shooting weddings there. I (Derren) grew up in KC, and there’s always been a special place in my heart for this great city. Katie (of Katie & Corey) also grew up here, and it was so awesome to be able to meet Katie & Corey back in KC and to capture them both getting ready for their day in the home where Katie spent much of her time growing up. It was a very hot and humid day, but Katie & Corey are so easy and relaxed that we soon forgot about the heat ourselves. Both of their families and all of their friends showed so much love and support for them throughout this celebration, and we feel grateful that we were able to be there to capture it.
