The Rasers – West Coast & Destination Wedding Photography » Creative Husband & Wife Photography Duo - West Coast, US, Destination

Hi there again. We’re posting this awesome wedding today from the road, and from the very long and rectangular state of Kansas (which also happens the be the birthplace of 1/2 of the Rasers Photography – we’ll let you guess which one).

We’ve been looking forward to sharing Annie and Dan’s wedding, and hope that you will really feel the fun, warmth and family connection we experienced at this wedding. We had so much fun being with Annie and Dan this day, and really enjoyed celebrating with their warm and expressive families! We send our congratulations again to you guys, from the next state over! Enjoy!

So, we’ve been really excited to share this wedding. One reason being, we really like Brittany and Travis. They are both some of the sweetest people we’ve had the chance to get to know. Another reason is that they made their wedding day such a beautiful personal expression of their relationship. This past Fall they brought so much fun, personality and creativity to their engagement session, and their wedding was no different (except it was on a much larger scale). From the beautiful locations for both the ceremony and reception (the incredible Latzer Homestead, where condensed milk was invented), to the fun yard games, local specialty sodas, and yummy desserts (all made by the bride’s mother!) this was such a unique and enjoyable celebration. Oh, and they gave us lots and lots of time for portraits and were open to all of our ideas, which we LOVE and allowed us to do so much (thanks you guys!). Our ideal scenario–we had so much fun!

Their good natured-ness was put the test later in the evening, when a severe thunderstorm rolled through their outdoor reception with some crazy lightning, rain and winds (blowing away with it many of the guests, and the dance party that had preceeded it). When we got back from waiting out the storm in the safety of our car we were surprised to find Brittany and Travis still festive and joyful, continuing to celebrate with and enjoy the guests and family members that were able to weather the storm. Just another testament to the joy and sweetness that is so evident anytime they are together. We were a little wet, but were sent home with several delightful homemade deserts as consolation. A beautiful end, to a beautiful day. Congrats you guys! Thanks so much for including us in your awesome day. We hope to see you again soon!

One thoughtful guest thought it would be nice for us to have a picture of ourselves for a change. So nice.

Mike and Sara were both so cheerful, and laughed so much while we were hanging out, that we couldn’t help but have a wonderful and joyful time during their session. It’s funny that we ended up with such colorful locations and surroundings for this shoot, because it really just seemed to capture Mike and Sara’s warm and vibrant personalities, really. We felt so at home with them, and are so looking forward to their upcoming wedding. Fun, and more fun! See you two soon. Enjoy!

As you’ll see, David and Julie’s wedding day was full of so much creativity, emotion, and fun. Their awesome families came together in a really wonderful and meaningful celebration of their relationship, and friends from all over traveled to be a part of the day.

As we mentioned when we posted their engagement session, David is a musician and Julie is a teacher — which are both professions that take a lot of creativity and imagination. The St. Louis City Museum was the perfect representation of their love for creativity, and was an incredible spot for their ceremony and reception. We’ve really enjoyed getting to know David and Julie–especially because we got to travel to Nashville (one of our favorite cities) to hang out with them for their engagement session. We look forward to watching their relationship grow, and to hopefully catching David in concert soon! Thanks so much for including us in your day! We’re so happy for you guys!!
