The Rasers – West Coast & Destination Wedding Photography » Creative Husband & Wife Photography Duo - West Coast, US, Destination

Lisa and I have taken to grabbing our cameras lately on gorgeous days like today, hopping in the car, and driving in search of a beautiful place to photograph. Today we went in search of a sweeping sunflower field we had heard existed down a certain road. However, when we arrived where it should have been, it was no longer. On the bright side, we ended up driving right past a breath-taking field, fitted complete with an ancient-looking, gnarled tree–and all right at sunset.

Needless to say we had much joy basking in the Fall sunlight, and letting our shutters fly. Here are a few images from our fun field free-for-all. We hope you enjoy!

Just a little teaser of what will be coming soon from Kate and Pete’s beautiful Fall wedding! Stay tuned. . .

Tiffany and Chris suggested that we meet them for our shoot a few weeks ago at the Missouri Botanical Gardens in Saint Louis. We had been wanting to go for a long time, and were so excited not only to finally see inside, but to be able to capture Tiffany and Chris in some of the Garden’s beautiful natural spaces.

As you will see Tiffany and Chris were as completely natural together as the spaces around them. We had so much fun hanging out with them, exploring the gardens together, and capturing these beautiful moments–we can’t wait to shoot their wedding! We hope you enjoy these moments too.

Here’s a sneak peek of an awesome engagement shoot that will be hitting the blog soon.

We traveled to Kansas City a few weeks ago to spend some time shooting the Daggett family–a really energetic and photogenic bunch. Not only did we get to take some shots in the beautiful new Modern Art addition to the world class Nelson Atkins Museum, but they also took us along to one of their favorite summertime haunts–the Fresher than Fresh snow cone stand (which we just featured in a recent post).

Mark is the owner of a very cool Kansas City-based web design firm called Humansized, and Erika authors a hip family-oriented life and culture blog called The Family Unit.

We had such a great time hanging out with them, romping through the sculpture garden together, and slurping up snow cones with them in the mean time. We loved capturing these images, and we hope you enjoy them just as much!
