One of our favorite things to do is spend time with people who love to laugh, and it is always a special pleasure to be able to work with couples fall into that category. Brooke & Jon so obviously enjoy being around each other that it made it so easy to capture the joy in this day. It also didn’t hurt that they chose two absolutely breath-taking settings for their ceremony & reception, both with the beautiful San Diego skyline as their backdrop. Their relaxed and generous personalities and their love for their friends and family came through in ever aspect of this day, and it was so much fun to capture! Congrats to these two again! Lynn + Subhi – Married | Yountville, CA

These two are some of the nicest most joyful people we’ve ever had the pleasure of getting to know and work with. Their intimate celebration at a beautiful retreat in Yountville, CA, just outside of Napa was all about having fun and showing love to their family and friends. From a morning spent relaxing around the pool, to the festive dinner with everyone gathered around the same beautiful farm table, to the serious dance party that ensued afterward — this day was one big celebration. You’ll see in the all the moments below that Lynn & Subhi could just not stop smiling and laughing all day long. They are so gracious and personal and made it easy to feel immediately like one of the family. Congrats to these two — we hope you enjoy all of these joyful moments!

Chris + Kristina – Married | McKinleyville, CA

One thing that we love about documenting wedding days is that we get to experience all the different and personal expressions of what that celebration looks like to each couple. For Chris & Kristina it was about making their wedding vows to each other in front of a small group of family & friends in the sun-filled living room of a farm house that has been in Chris’s family for a 100 years, a place that is very dear to them. It was such an intimate ceremony that we were literally standing shoulder to shoulder with family members as we all witnessed this beautiful commitment together. Still wanting to share some part of the day their larger group of family & friends, they planned an amazing bash nearby that everyone re-convened at later on. Kristina & Chris are such sweet and joyful people and it was such a gift to be able to tell the story of their beautiful and unique day. We hope you enjoy a few of our favorite moments!

Travel Journal – ITALY

We travel often to document our couples’ weddings, and we love getting to share those images and experiences regularly here on the blog. We travel often for personal enjoyment also, however we don’t often have opportunities to share those adventures with you. This past summer we embarked one of our biggest adventures yet and we couldn’t resist letting you in on some of our favorite moments. We had both been lucky enough to have opportunities to travel in Europe a few times before individually, but we had not yet had a chance to go and explore together. We amended that this past summer when we set off to see a flurry of cities across Italy, France and England. It was an amazing time, and as you can imagine we had a blast documenting our adventure in photographs.

This first entry is a collection of moments and scenes from the portion of our trip that took us to Italy. It’s hard to express in words the magic of Italy’s beautiful cities, vibrant culture and amazing cuisine. So, we will let the images do that talking. Just looking back through these images already has us dreaming of ways to get back (cue the delightful couple planning an intimate Italian destination wedding!). The world is vast and beautiful and we can’t wait to see more of it! We hope you enjoy this first entry in our travel journal! Divertiti!
